Import/Export data

This writes clock movements into a file that can be opened by Excel or any other program that recognises the .CSV format. It is also useful if you need to export data from this system to another Africlock system, on which you would select "Import data: Clock movements: Comma-delimited file". The file layout is shown here.

 

This option (which requires you to have Excel installed on the same computer as your clocking system) will create an export file in Excel format.

 

This imports clock movement data from the GWT/IDU fingerprint clock (see GWT web site).

This option imports comma-delimited attendance records (see Comma-delimited attendance export below). The file format is shown here.

 

 

Pastel Payroll contains a function to export an employee master list. You can use this as your initial employee list to save some typing. Please contact us if you cannot get this function to work.

Software Farm's "Accord" system has the ability to import attendance records. Contact us for advice on the use of this feature.
